Holly Stalcup was named the University of Illinois Assistant Athletic Director for Event Management in July of 2011. She is responsible for directing all aspects of game day operations for the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics as well as external events while also overseeing the scheduling of all Illinois' Division of Intercollegiate Athletics facilities.

Stalcup began her career at the University of Illinois in August of 2003 as a graduate assistant in the Athletic Ticket Office. In July of 2004 she was hired as the Event Coordinator for the DIA and was promoted to Assistant Director of Event Management in 2010.

During her tenure at the University of Illinois, Stalcup has been very influential in the planning of numerous NCAA, Big Ten, IHSA and ITA Championships including serving as Tournament Director for the 2013 NCAA Division I Tennis Championships. Stalcup has also been involved in bowl preparations for Illinois Football.

A native of Springfield, Ill., Stalcup earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training in 2003 from the University of Illinois. During her four years as an undergraduate student she served as a student athletic trainer for the DIA. Stalcup also earned a master's degree in Sports Management from the University of Illinois in 2005
