Nick Rogers was named the Director of Information Technology in June of 2003. He began his career at the University of Illinois in 1997 as an undergraduate, working for Campus Information Technologies and Educational Services (CITES). In 1999, he joined CITES Departmental Services full time as a Research Programmer, providing system administration to units on campus. During his tenure with CITES, Nick worked with both DIA and the Alumni Association, and served as a DS Coordinator to several units.
While at Illinois, Rogers has seen the Information Technology Services staff grow from one employee to four full-time staff plus a number of hourly support staff. He manages the Information Technology Services group, which provides system administration, desktop support, software development and event coverage to all of athletics.
A native of Missouri, Rogers received his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois in 1999 and his MBA from Eastern Illinois University in 2005. He is an Apple Certified Technical Coordinator and a Microsoft Certified System Administrator. Rogers and his wife, Lori, reside in Savoy with their son, Jack, and daughter, Eleanor.
