CREDENTIALS AND PARKING

PRODUCTION TRUCK: Production truck parking is located in the tunnel on the east side of the building. There are two loading dock spots available that are 23' wide combined. If bringing two trucks and one/both are expandos then you must park in line up the tunnel and will have to level the front truck. You access the tunnel from the east side of the building off of Fourth Street at the guard shack and must back down the tunnel. The parking area is flat.

SATELLITE TRUCK: Satellite truck parking is located on the north side of the building adjacent to the guard shack. Access this parking by entering the Northeast lot off of Fourth Street. The parking area is flat.

CREW PARKING: The television crew park in the Northeast lot located off of Fourth Street. A crew list must be provided to Kent Brown at least 48 hours before the event day.


State Farm Center TV OPERATIONS
TV COMPOUND: The State Farm Center TV Compound is located in the loading dock below the Northeast corner of the building (entry off Fourth St.). There is room for two remote trucks. Satellite trucks park on the north side of State Farm Center next to the guard shack.

CAMERA LOCATIONS: Two high sideline camera locations in Level B on the upper platform between B31 & B32 (Illinois video utilizes the lower platform in the same area). There are two camera locations under each basket, chairs are not provided. The slash camera is located on a 4'6" raised platform in the SE corner of the court. The beauty shot is typically located on a spotlight platform at the top of section 39. Television is also capable of putting a hand-held camera in front of the announce table at midcourt.There is a shot/game clock located in the cage adjacent to the production truck. A shot/game clock camera may be set up in the tunnel area if an "in arena" clock is required. Please inform State Farm Center staff in advance in an in arena camera is required for the clock. The height of the basketball goal is checked two hours before tipoff. Any equipment to be mounted on or attached to the goal must be completed before this time.

AUDIO/VIDEO CABLING: There is cabling from the "cage" to the arena tunnel and from the "cage" to the upper camera positions on the east side of the arena. Furthermore there are XLR connections from the "cage" to the arena tunnel. There are additional XLR connections to the upper east camera position. There is a shot/game clock located in the "cage" next to the production truck.

The building is wired to two locations in the arena. A number of outlets go to the upper east side camera position as well as to the tunnel position. All floor camera positions are run from the tunnel location. The distance from the production truck to the court is approximately 175'. Triax king connectors - male to male are needed for all prewired Triax connections at our facility

All home runs must follow the cable tray from the tunnel entrance through a hole in the firewall to the truck location.

LOCKER ROOMS: Both teams enter the court through the north tunnel. Visiting Team locker room is Room A, just to the right inside the tunnel. Visiting coaches are in Dressing Room 1, just inside the tunnel to the left. Illinois team locker room is Room B, and the coaches are in Room C, down the east hall.

STAT LOCATIONS: The Talent Stats location is at the announce table on the East side of mid-court. Official Stats is located in A32, Row 12, fourth seat from the right. The Time-Out Coordinator is seated at the scorers' table in seat 4.

POST GAME PRESS CONFERENCES: Both Illinois and the visiting team will conduct their post-game press conference on the press level of room 124 of State Farm Center. There are existing audio and video cables to the post-game press conference area.

PHONE LINES: To request phone lines, phone numbers and Internet connections you must contact the local AT&T office directly at least 48 hours prior to the event day (800-321-8152). POWER: Power connections must be made by the staff State Farm Center electrician. You must contact the State Farm Center Assistant Director for Operations at least one week in advance of the event to coordinate park & power times.

CATERING: There is a large dining room that can seat up to 44 people. There is an adjacent full-service kitchen that can be used by the local caterer to serve very elegant and satisfying meals. The dining room has dimmable lighting, cable TV and show program audio if desired. This room is available until two hours before tipoff. Non-University catering is allowed on-site, however they will not be allowed access to any kitchen facilities on-site.

EQUIPMENT: Four stools are available for on court interviews. These stools are placed by the cage in the production truck area.

From Chicago O'Hare International Airport: From Chicago O¹Hare International Airport: I-90/94 East to I-57 South to I-74 East OR I-294 Tri-State Tollway East to I-80 West to I-57 South to I-74 East. Exit I-74 on Neil Street heading South. Take a left onto St. Mary's Rd. Turn left onto First Street and turn at the second left into Lot 32. Approximate travel time: 3:00.

From Chicago Midway Airport: Cicero Avenue South to I-294 Tri-State Tollway East to I-80 West to I-57 South to I-74 East. Exit I-74 on Neil Street heading South. Take a left onto St. Mary's Rd. Turn left onto First Street and turn at the second left into Lot 32. Approximate travel time: 2:45.

From Indianapolis International Airport: I-465 North to I-74 West. Exit onto Lincoln Ave heading South. Take a right onto Florida Ave. Turn left on Fourth Street. Take a right onto St. Mary's Rd. Turn right on First Street and take second left into Lot 32. Approximate travel time: 2:00.

From Lambert-St. Louis Airport: I-70 East toward St. Louis. (will hit I-170 North and I-270 East before becoming I-70 East again). Merge onto I-57 North. Take exit 229 Monticello/Savoy. Head east to Hwy 45 and take left. Take right onto St. Mary's Rd. Take left onto First Street and turn at the second left into Lot 32. Approximate travel time: 3:30.

From UI Willard Airport: Take Route 45 North from the Airport exit (turns into Neil Street once in Champaign). Take right onto St. Mary's Rd. Take left onto First Street and turn at the second left into Lot 32. 10-15 minute drive.
