Nicole Mechling joined the University of Illinois Sports Information staff as a graduate assistant in July 2011 after working in the office as an undergraduate student assistant for three semesters. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in 2011 and is now pursuing a master's degree. Mechling is the primary contact for men's gymnastics, men's and women's tennis and swimming and diving.
