    Priority Points

    1. Why is the I FUND important?
      The I FUND is important because the University of Illinois athletic programs receive no funding from the University of Illinois or the State of Illinois. The I FUND is integral to maintaining the tradition of Illinois Athletics.

    2. Does my gift make a difference?
      Every gift, no matter the amount, brings us closer to meeting the total scholarship costs for dedicated University of Illinois student-athletes.

    3. What is an athletic endowment?
      An endowment is established to serve as a permanent source of funds for athletic scholarships. Endowment principal is never spent. A percentage from the accrued interest is used annually for scholarships.

    4. How do I join?
      Print off the membership application from this website or contact our offices in Champaign at 217/333-6595 and ask to speak with Mike Hatfield or Carrie Wilson, or in Chicago at 312/575-7850 and ask to speak with Steve Greene or Chris Tuttle.

    5. As a new I FUND member who is purchasing season tickets for the first-time, where will my seats be located?
      All I FUND members receive priority over the general public when they purchase season tickets. For football please look at our priority seating chart for your priority seating location. For basketball all levels of involvement except for Loyalty Circle are located in C-Section of the Assembly Hall. For estimated seat locations based upon involvement please call Mike Hatfield or Carrie Wilson at 217-333-6595.

    6. How do I request a seating or parking improvement?
      Please indicate your request for seating or parking improvement on your season ticket application. If you upgrade your I FUND annual giving , reallocation for seating is not automatically done.

    7. Is the cost of the season football ticket and parking pass included in my donation?
      The costs of season tickets are not included in the donation. However, one complimentary parking pass for football and basketball are given based upon one's donation.
