Kali Hofer was named University of Illinois Assistant Director of Marketing in October 2012. In her role, she is the primary contact for soccer, women's basketball, men's and women's gymnastics and baseball.
Hofer began her career in athletics as a marketing intern at Southern Illinois University in 2008. From June 2008-July 2009, she served as the graduate assistant for marketing at SIU, where she oversaw the marketing efforts for volleyball, women's basketball, baseball and softball, along with advising the student group, the Dawg Pound.
Upon graduation in July 2009, Hofer accepted an internship at Notre Dame where she was later promoted to Event Marketing Coordinator and was responsible for overseeing all marketing aspects for Notre Dame men's basketball, baseball, softball, soccer programs and football game days. She also assisted in developing new media marketing for Notre Dame Athletics and oversaw the student group, the Leprechaun Legion.
Hofer graduated from Southern Illinois University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in marketing and later earned her master's degree in business administration from SIU in 2009.
