In December, 2010, she covered the volleyball team's first-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament.
Before arriving in Blacksburg, Glasser spent a year as the Assistant Sports Information Director at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., where she coordinated all communications efforts for 10 of the Division II school's 20 teams, including soccer, ice hockey and baseball.
