Terence F. (Terry) Conlon was named the University of Illinois Director of Concessions in 1994. Prior to working at the University, Conlon worked in foodservice operations with Ground Round Restaurants and Canteen Food and Vending. He earned his bachelor's degree from Illinois State and received post-degree certification from the National Association of Concessionaires (NAC).
In terms of leadership roles, Conlon is a member of the NAC and is currently serving as Vice President of this organization. He has been a speaker at its annual conference and has also served as a panelist on the topics of "stadium renovation" and "current challenges facing foodservice and concessions." In 2013, Conlon will serve as the President-Elect of the NAC. Conlon is also a member of the National Association of Collegiate Concessionaires (NACC).
Conlon's responsibilities include foodservice provision at Huff Hall, Illinois Field, Atkins Tennis Center, Eichelberger Field at Martin Stadium, Illinois Soccer and Track Stadium, Illinois Armory and Memorial Stadium. In 2002, Conlon's team worked double time as Memorial Stadium hosted both Fighting Illini and Chicago Bears home football games.
