Donation & Autograph Policy
The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics does not accept personal items such as t-shirts, balls, posters, or other memorabilia to be autographed by student-athletes or coaches. We will not accommodate autograph requests made to the DIA by phone, mail, e-mail or in-person visit.
Per Title 80 of the Illinois Administrative Code CH. IV. SEC. 2675.60, the DIA is not permitted to donate tickets or other items such as autographed memorabilia or use of institutional facilities to charitable organizations or fundraisers, as these items are considered property of the State of Illinois. For more information, click HERE.
Fans may obtain autographs from Illini coaches and student-athletes in all sports during pre-arranged promotional events such as the Football Family Fun Fest and planned autograph signings after games and other contests.
While supplies last, fans and charitable organizations have the opportunity to purchase autographed items from Head Men's Basketball Coach John Groce and Head Football Coach Tim Beckman. Due to the limited supply and high demand, individuals and organizations may only purchase one autographed item from each coach per academic year. Autographed items will be subject to availability, and once sold out, orders will not be accepted again until the following academic year. Receipt of an autographed item in previous years does not guarantee subsequent availability. These items are available through FightingIllini.com, the official web site of the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics, and will be processed by Gameday Spirit Fan Store.
