Austin Addington-Strapp is in his first year as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for football at the University of Illinois. Addington-Strapp came to Illinois from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio, where he was the head strength and conditioning for multiple sports.
Addington-Strapp was given his first head strength and conditioning coaching position at Ohio Dominican where he was able to lay the foundation and develop a previously non-existent strength and conditioning department. Prior to his stint with the Panthers, he was a graduate assistant at Bowling Green State University (2010-2011).
A native of Gahanna, Ohio, Addington-Strapp graduated from Ohio Dominican University in 2009 with a bachelor of science and received a Masters of Education from Bowling Green State University in 2011.
