Buy Illini Day at Wrigley Tickets
The Chicago I FUND is set to host its annual Illini Day at Wrigley Field on Saturday, July 28. The Cubs will host the division rival St. Louis Cardinals at 12:05 p.m. in a match-up made for Illini fans across the state. Director of Athletics Mike Thomas and the entire football coaching staff will be in attendance, with head coach Tim Beckman conducting the seventh-inning stretch.
Prior to the game, the I FUND will host a pre-game celebration at John Barleycorn in Wrigleyville (3524 North Clark Street) from 9:30 -11:45 a.m. Tickets cost $70 each and include an appetizer buffet and beverages at the pre-game party, plus an upper deck outfield reserved game ticket with over 500 fellow orange-clad Illini fans.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. CT on Wednesday, July 11, HERE.
For those that don't want to attend both the game and the pre-game celebration, there are a limited amount of pre-game only tickets ($35) and game tickets ($33) available directly through the Chicago I FUND office by calling 312-575-7850.
Fans must bring their tickets on game day for entry into John Barleycorn and Wrigley Field. Pre-game tickets and Cubs tickets will NOT be reprinted the day of the event. Children are permitted to the pre-game event, however no individuals under the age of 21 years old are allowed in the bar without a parent or legal guardian. Per Chicago Cubs policy, fans age 2 and under may be admitted to the Cubs game without an admission ticket, however they must sit on the lap of an accompanying adult.
Following the game, Illini fans are invited to an after party at Rebel Bar & Grill, 3462 North Clark, for Illini specials and giveaways.
