2009 Summer Football Camps
One-Day Champaign Camps, June 15-19, 22-26 - CLOSED
*Check-in for the One-Day Camps is located in the recruiting lounge under the north stands. Free parking is available in the NE lot of Assembly Hall (corner of Fourth and Kriby). Once parked, walk down the east side of the stadium and then down the stairs at the far end. Go left at the bottom of the stairs and check-in is inside the glass doors just before the stadium steps.
*Parents/Guardians must complete and sign an Emergency Medical Information Form in order to finalize a camper's registration and participation in camp activities. This form is included in the confirmation mailing. A copy of this form is available at the above link (signature is necessary).

Athletes entering grades 9-12 may attend the Ron Zook Specialist Camp. The camp will focus on the fundamentals of place kicking, punting, and long snapping. For more information visit www.timwilliamskicking.com.

Ron Zook will offer Middle School (grades 6-8) campers a tremendous opportunity to receive instruction from the University of Illinois football coaches. Fundamentals such as blocking, tackling, ball handling, throwing and catching will be covered during the three-day, two-night camp. Also included will be movies, Illini Ball and other group activities. (Campers do not wear helmets or shoulder pads.)

Take advantage of this great opportunity to work with
the University of Illinois coaching staff and other
college coaches. The camp includes individual position skill instruction as well as speed and agility training.

High school teams are encouraged to enroll in the Ron Zook 7-on-7 Shootout. The Shootout brings together over 100 teams from several states for a day of intense and enjoyable competition.

The Lineman Camp, scheduled in conjunction with the 7-on-7 Shootout, provides an intense learning opportunity for offensive and defensive linemen. Athletes entering grades 9-12 may participate in the 2009 Lineman Camp. Offensive linemen learn fundamentals in run and pass blocking, while defensive linemen focus on defeating run blocks, pass techniques, and pursuit. Participants should bring helmet and shoulder pads.

Athletes ages 5 to 14 are encouraged to attend the parent/child Illini camp with their parent(s). Players and parents are schooled in the fundamentals of the sport through a variety of enjoyable drills, games, and contests. (Campers do not wear helmets or shoulder pads.)
