    Stroke Technique / Start & Turn Camp: Boys & Girls ages 9-17


    Individual Cost:

    Stroke Technique Camp
    $500 - Resident
    $400 - Commuter

    Start & Turn Camps (1 / 2) - $140*
    *Rate applies to both residents and commuters

    *$45 Discount for attending both Stroke Technique and a Start & Turn (1 or 2)
    $595 - Resident
    $495 - Commuter


    Group Cost:

    If you are registering in a group of 10 or more campers you may be eligible for a group discount. Prices are noted below. Call the Summer Camps Office, (217) 244-7278 or email sumcamps@illinois.edu for more information.

    Start & Turn Camp 1

    Check-out: June 14, 11am at Sherman Hall

    Start & Turn Camp 2
    Check-in: June 20, 12:00 - 1:00pm at Sherman Hall
    Check-out: June 21, 11am at Sherman Hall

    Are there registration deadlines for these camps?
    These camps do not have registration deadlines. Walk-ups are welcome at all of our camps unless specifically noted in the above camp information or on the brochure.

    Do I need to provide a roommate preference in advance?
    It is not necessary to contact the camps office in advance with a roommate preference. All roommate preferences are handled by the housing staff and honored at check-in.

    How many beds are in a room?
    Sherman Hall - The rooms are suites (2 bedrooms share 1 bathroom). There is 1 bed in each bedroom.

    *Parents/Guardians must complete and sign an Emergency Medical Information Form in order to finalize a camper's registration and participation in camp activities. This form is included in the confirmation mailing. A copy of this form is available at the link below (signature is necessary).
