The Illini continued to prepare for the season-opener against Western Michigan on Tuesday, with another morning practice. Once the team finished working out on Zuppke Field at Memorial Stadium, work crews continued to install more signage recognizing Illinois' all-time bowl appearances and an Illinois. Our State. Our Team sign atop the student section in the north end zone seating area.

Workers also began to install a massive flag pole in the northwest corner of the stadium, but the recent rain slowed them down a bit as they had to remove all the water from the 10-foot hole that the pole will be set into.

The team will go practice Wednesday and Thursday morning before conducting their walk through on Friday afternoon as they wrap up preparations for Saturday's tilt against the Broncos.
