Stricker graduated from the University of Illinois in 1989 after a decorated collegiate career and has since gone on to establish himself as a perennial top 10 golfer in the world with 12 PGA Tour tournament titles.  Always mentioned as one of the most genuine and likable players on the PGA Tour, Steve demonstrates his dedication to supporting former Illini teammate and current Illini head men's golf coach Mike Small's program by returning to Champaign-Urbana annually to help host the Steve Stricker Illini Classic.
