    Illini in the NFL - Week 14

    Rackers Winning Kick.jpgEach week the Illini in the NFL Update will provide coverage on how former Fighting Illini football players fared during the previous weekend. Neil Rackers sealed the Texans' comeback win with an extra point with two seconds remaining to highlight Week 14.     Neil Rackers, PK, Houston Texans - Hit the game-winning extra point and converted a 46 and 33 yard field goal in a 20-19 comeback win over the Bengals.

    Brandon Lloyd, WR, St. Louis Rams - Led team with five catches for 82 yards, including this 37-yard sliding catch, in a 30-13 loss to the Seahawks.

    Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers - Picked up 76 yards on the ground in a 14-3 win over the Browns.

    Pierre Thomas, RB, New Orleans Saints - Rushed for 22 yards and caught six passes for 35 yards in a 22-17 win over the Titans.

    David Diehl, OT, New York Giants - Started at left tackle for the Giants, who did not give up a sack and totaled 510 yards of offense in a 37-34 win over the Cowboys.

    Brandon Moore, OG, New York Jets - Started at guard for the Jets, who rushed for 159 yards in a 37-10 win over the Chiefs.

    Arrelious Benn, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Made one catch for seven yards in a 41-14 loss to the Jaguars.

    Alan Ball, CB, Dallas Cowboys - Had three tackles, including two solo stops, and a pass defended in a 37-34 loss to the Giants.

    Martez Wilson, LB, New Orleans Saints - Was in on three tackles in a 22-17 win over the Titans.

    Corey Liuget, DL, San Diego Chargers - Made two solo tackles and defended a pass in a 37-10 win over the Bills.

    Vontae Davis, CB, Miami Dolphins - Tallied two solo tackles in a 26-10 loss to the Eagles.

    Steve Weatherford, P, New York Giants - Punted four times with an average of 44.5 yards, including a season-long 62-yard punt, in a 37-34 win over the Cowboys.

    Jon Asamoah, OG, Kansas City Chiefs - Started at right guard for the Chiefs in a 37-10 loss to the Jets.

    Tony Pashos, OG, Cleveland Browns - Started at right tackle in a 14-3 loss to the Steelers.

    Josh Brent, DT, Dallas Cowboys - Did not play in the 37-34 loss to the Giants due to a knee injury.

    Kelvin Hayden, CB, Atlanta Falcons - Did not play in a 31-23 win over the Panthers due to a toe injury.

    Brit Miller, FB, St. Louis Rams - Did not play in a 30-13 loss to the Seahawks.
