    Illini in the NFL - Week 4

    Lloyd.JPGEach week the Illini in the NFL Update will provide coverage on how former Fighting Illini football players fared during the previous weekend. Brandon Lloyd turned in his best receiving game of the year, Rashard Mendenhall scored his second TD of the season and Neil Rackers remained perfect with his 10th field goal to highlight week four.     Brandon Lloyd, WR, Denver Broncos - Finished with a season-high eight catches for 136 yards, including a 44-yard reception, in a 49-23 loss to the Packers.

    Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers - Found the end zone on a 3-yard TD run and rushed for 25 yards in a 17-10 loss to the Texans.

    Arrelious Benn, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Tallied a 43-yard reception on the Bucs' first scoring drive and rushed once for three yards in a 24-17 win over the Colts.

    Neil Rackers, PK, Houston Texans - Hit a 25-yard field goal, making him 10-of-10 on the year, and a pair of extra points in a 17-10 win over the Steelers.

    Pierre Thomas, RB, New Orleans Saints - Caught four passes for 43 yards and gained 36 yards on the ground in a 23-10 win over the Jaguars.

    Brit Miller, FB, St. Louis Rams - Had his first career catch for three yards in a 17-10 loss to the Redskins.

    David Diehl, OT, New York Giants - Started at right guard and protected Eli Manning, who threw for over 300 yards in a 31-27 win over the Cardinals.

    Steve Weatherford, P, New York Giants - Punted five times, averaging 44.6 yards, in a 31-27 win over the Cardinals.

    Jon Asamoah, OG, Kansas City Chiefs - Started at right guard for the Chiefs, who picked up 350 yards of total offense in a 22-17 win over the Vikings.

    Kelvin Hayden, CB, Atlanta Falcons - Was in on two tackles in a 30-28 win over the Seahawks.

    Alan Ball, CB, Dallas Cowboys - Had one tackle in a 34-30 loss to the Lions.

    Josh Brent, DT, Dallas Cowboys - Made one solo tackle in a 34-30 loss to the Lions.

    Brandon Moore, OG, New York Jets - Started at guard in a 34-17 loss to the Ravens.

    Tony Pashos, OG, Cleveland Browns - Played for the first time all season in a 31-13 loss to the Titans after sitting out the first three games with a foot injury.

    Corey Liuget, DL, San Diego Chargers - Played in the 26-16 win over the Dolphins, but did not record any statistics.

    Michael Hoomanawanui, TE, St. Louis Rams - Left game due to a head injury in a 17-10 loss to the Redskins.

    Vontae Davis, CB, Miami Dolphins - Did not play in a 26-16 loss to the Chargers due to a hamstring injury.

    Martez Wilson, LB, New Orleans Saints - Was inactive for the 23-10 win over the Jaguars due to a neck and shoulder injury.
