IMG_6550.JPGThe Fighting Illini held a morning workout in helmets and shorts Friday at Camp Rantoul. After two weeks at the former Chanute Air Force Base, Friday marked the second-to-last practice in Rantoul before the team returns to Champaign-Urbana for the fall semester.

Following Friday's practice, several Illini players headed to campus to make sure their classes schedules and housing arrangements were in order. They're all due back at Camp Rantoul by 6 pm tonight for meetings prior to Saturday's final practice.

Speaking of Saturday, the Illini are slated to scrimmage at Camp Rantoul starting at 10 am, which is a change from the original 3:30 start time. It's the last chance to get a glimpse of the Orange and Blue prior to the Sept. 3 season-opener against Arkansas State, as all practices starting next week, with exception of Fan Appreciation Day on Aug. 27, will be closed to the public.
