The Illini held practice No. 8 Thursday afternoon at Camp Rantoul. Fans were treated to a spectacular touchdown pass from Nathan Scheelhaase to Anthony Williams in the back corner of the end zone during 7-on-7 drills. Then during the live, short yardage situations Jason Ford had a long touchdown run and freshman running back Donovonn Young had several nice runs, including a first down run where he broke several tackles and carried a defender across the first down line. The Orange and Blue will hold practice No. 9 on Friday from 3:30-6 pm, their last workout before their first live scrimmage of the fall on Saturday night at Rantoul High School (6:30 pm). The Big Ten Network will be on site Saturday, filming footage for their Illinois Big Ten Football Preview Tour, which airs on Aug. 18 at 7 pm CT.

full pads practice, Zook's love of all things Rantoul, the Oklahoma Drill,
two-a-days and those wonderful post-practice ice baths. It even has a cameo by
WCIA sports anchor Matt Wettersten. Another highlight is Jack Cornell's stare
and Steve Irwin impression at the 3:58 mark. Great work once again by Illini
